Dear Tiger Family,

 On the behalf of our Administration Team, I would like to take this opportunity to personally welcome back all of the returning students, parents, staff, community stakeholders and a very special welcome to those joining the North Miami Middle School Community for the first time. Successful students learning thrives with open communication and active parent-teacher-school partnership. I approach this year with a great enthusiasm to work with the North Miami Community to promote out students academic and social achievements.

 As we embark on a new adventure, the safety and security of our students is our number one goal. Every student is required to wear their uniforms daily and a neat appearance is expected of all of our students. We believe in fair and consistent discipline that encourages students to be respectful for themselves. At school, we try to create a safe environment where courtesy and kindness prevail and where there is respect for differences in other people, customs and culture.

 The motto of North Miami Middle School continues to be “Our standard is excellence.” The thematic focus title for this year is: “It’s all about me” and our focus statement is “I am responsible for my actions.”

 A warm welcome again to all of our community support stakeholders: The City of North Miami, North Miami Police Department, Channel 7 WSVN, The Council for Educational Change, North Miami Public Library, Fairchild Tropical Gardens, MOCA, Haitian Heritage Museum and the Museum of Southern Florida. We cherish these relationships and know that our combined efforts can make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our students. We look forward to a productive and successful year.

Estimada Tiger Family,

 De parte de nuestro equipo administrativo, deseo tomar esta oportunidad para darlles una bienvenidad a aqurllos estudiantes que regresan, a los padres, al personal del colegio, a los miembros de la comunidad y especialmente a todos que por primera vez van a ser miembros de nuestra familia en North Miami Middle School. Un buen estudiante se desaralla en un ambiente escolar donde existe una communicación abierta y activa entre el estudiante-el maestro-el padre. Todos tenemos gran entusiasmo en promover los logras academicos y socials de nuestos alumnus.

 Al comenzar esta nueva aventura, la sequridad del estudiantado es nuestra meta primordial. Diriamente se require que todo estudiante lleve su uniforme limpio y a seado. Creemos en crear un ambiente donde la disciplina sea justa y constante y el estudiante se sienta animado a ser respetuoso con si mismo. Un ambiente donde prevalecen la cortesía, la amabilidad y el respeto a las diferencias entre personas, costumbres, y cultura.

 El tema de North Miami Middle Schoool continua siendo “Nuestro estandar es excelencia.” Nuestra unidad tematica es “Es todo sobre mi” y el enfogue es “Yo soy responsible de mis acciones.”

Otra vez, bienvendios a los miembras de la comunidad que apollan nuestros es fuerzos, especialmente la ciudad de North Miami, el Departamente de Policia de North Miami, y el canal de television WSVN 7, el Consejo para Cambias Educativos, la biblioteca publica de North Miami, los jardines tropicales de Fairchild, MOCA el Museo de la Herencia Haitiana, y el museo del Sur de la Florida.

 Apreciamos estas relaxiones y sabemos que nuestros es fuerzos combinados pueden ser la diferencia en las vidas de nuestros alumnus. Sigamos adelante hacia un año escolar próspero y productivo.
